Description
Here's my first drawing of a new character that will appear (eventually) in my stories. I won't start writing for a while because I want to do a lot of planning and college is soon. I've decided to reboot my stories, and with the notes I have so far it's going to be much better! I'm not sure if it's going to be written or in comic form, but I've got plenty of time to decide that, since I'm only in the beginning stages of planning.
This character's name is Deryn Schuyler (pronounced Skyler. And I TOTALLY didn't get that name from Hamilton...). "Deryn" means "bird", so I thought it was a appropriate to give her a last name that sounds like "sky".
The thing in the bottom right corner is her signature (I also TOTALLY didn't make my own alphabet for her home planet...), and mine is in the bottom left corner.
This was supposed to be sketches of her face from different angles, then I started colouring and "discovered" the airbrush tool... I also recorded this, so I might upload it to YouTube soon.
